I just moved to Utah not too long ago, my mother and I had been going to the same hair stylist for years back in Vegas before moving here. I even did the 8-hour drive (once) to go back to Vegas to get my hair done, I knew I couldn't keep doing that. I had switched hair stylists once before and they had completely ruined my hair, so initially I was obviously skeptical of going to a new stylist. Then along came Kylie B. She put all my fears to rest the moment I sat down in her chair. She was very upfront about the cost and told me about the entire process for my hair and what to expect throughout the process. She made me feel so safe and secure and, in the process, gave me my dream hair that I can't stop looking at or playing with. My hair is my biggest confidence boost and Kylie makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the room every time I leave that salon. Kylie will constantly ask after my appointment is done and when my hair is styled if there is anything that I would like fixed, not once has she done something I didn't like. Kylie not only does mine and my mom's hair, but she also does my brother's hair and my grandmother's hair. I get constant compliments on my hair whenever I leave my house and have given out her information to many different people who are interested in getting their hair done by Kylie. Annette is AMAZING! If you can get in with her, GO! I've been coming to Annette since 2018, and without a doubt, she is so great. From various haircuts and coloring (because I've gone from blonde, BRIGHT red, brown, and now back light... I can't rave enough about her. She does it right without damaging my hair, and she's so incredibly kind, too, so that's always refreshing.

Review for my stylist Mikaela: I cannot say enough good things about Mikaela! I was able to book online and she accepted the appointment quickly! She was on time and gave me EXACTLY what I asked for with my haircut 💇🏼‍♀️!!! Her pricing was affordable and she made me feel valued. I just had a baby and she really helped me feel myself again. I would recommend Mikaela to anyone! 10/10! Salon Review: I really loved the salon! It felt very clean and I loved the atmosphere! They didn’t have a reception lady but the girls working greeted me and let me know they would get my stylist- which I really appreciated her taking some time away from her own client to welcome me in. I had an appointment with Mikaela- I 10/10 would recommend booking with her!!!

I don’t normally make reviews but I want to share my opinion about my favorite stylist at this salon. I have been coming to Kylie since she start doing hair. She always has a professional and upbeat personality and she takes genuine care in her work and clients. I love that she takes the time to get to know me and my hair and I trust her 100% to make recommendations. She makes me feel as beautiful as ever when I walk out of the salon and I can confidently say that you should book with Kylie. I love that she takes genuine interest in what I have to say and she’s always willing to help me achieve my hair goals. She takes the time to help me figure out what I want and how to achieve the look I’m going for. I have never had any issues with Kylie and I can always count on her to make sure my hair stays healthy when doing something drastic lol like going from black to light brown. She is clear about her pricing and the process that my hair will take so we can keep it as healthy as ever. She makes a plan for my hair so I know what we are doing in the next appointments and what we need to do to get the end result. In short, book with Kylie. I have never felt more taken care of when it comes to my hair needs.

I can’t even tell you how happy I am. My 3 year old daughter has never had a haircut but she sucks her thumb and will wrap her hair around her finger. It gets knots but usually we have gotten them out but this one we just couldn’t get out and I thought for sure it would need to be cut but to less then shoulder length. I tried it all but then brought her here and Kylie did the best ever job. My daughter didn’t loose much hair at all and she was patient and kind. My son will be getting his hair cut soon by her now to as he has longer hair to.

Hands down, Kylie is by far my favorite stylist. Her cuts are precise and my color is always impeccable 👌🏻 she paints my custom vivids like Picasso! She’s so amazing, I gladly followed Kylie from Textures’ previous location to this gorgeous new salon. I’ve never been to a salon with a sunset view! You will not be disappointed! …

I went to see Kylie B. on 3 separate occasions. The 2nd time that I went, I was so pleased that I posted on social media. I also took my husband in for a haircut (he wasn't happy). On my 3rd, most recent visit, I trusted Kylie to take my long hair above my shoulders and put a lot of blonde in it. As always, I relayed my wishes to steer clear of brassy/hydrogen looking orange shades but emphasized the importance of covering the few gray areas (particularly at front hairline). And, since I was going short for the first time in a very long time, I also joked, “Please don’t give me a ‘Karen’ haircut.” ;) When my hair was “done” the gray at my front hairline had not been touched. I asked her what we could do about this because I had no intention of leaving with any gray (this is the whole reason that I’ve started coloring my hair). I, again, showed her a couple of photos of women with light pieces in front. She said, “I don’t want to offend you but those 'money pieces' are for young girls, like high school age or twenties.” Um, okay. I still chose to have her do the light pieces instead of dark pieces, which she stated as the other of the 2 options. Kylie became cold and there was a noticeable shift in attitude. I purchased some product as she was trying to win a contest for a free ticket for a class for hair extension certification. However, when I left, I definitely felt that I was persona non grata. 2 days later, before washing my hair, I reached out to Kylie because my highlights were the dreaded orange. I asked if I should wait a couple more washes (referring to the fact that she had washed it at the salon), or if she thought something else was at play, asked if we could book an appointment to correct the problem. 3 days later -today- I left a message on the salon voicemail. (It’s fine, she wasn’t working the previous couple of days, no big deal.) I received a shockingly hostile text message later today in response. The message said that she had explained that my hair wouldn’t look like the pictures because it had been previously colored. Well, she didn’t say that (and also worth noting that it had been previously colored by her). Also, I go in every couple/few months rather than every 6 weeks (which I think is partly why she was angry with me?) so not all of the hair had been previously colored. There was visible, virgin? regrowth and hair. She also said that she had let me know that bleaching the front was against her professional opinion. This is dishonest as the only thing that she had to say was to imply that I was too old for the look. She refused to fix it citing concerns about the integrity of my hair (which is extremely healthy btw) and told me to “find a new hairstylist.” I am gobsmacked. I did not talk down to her or disrespect her in any way. I was only firm in not leaving with visible gray, which I -still- feel is reasonable. In her next response she accused me of disrespecting her in her chair because I wouldn’t leave with the gray… Side note: I had always taken a genuine interest in Kylie, asking about her mom, boyfriend and his son, her other job etc. and I don’t feel it is out of line to request a correction in this type of service provided. She also seemed upset about what she was charging me. I paid what I was told the service cost and I would not have had a problem paying what she felt the service was worth, so that was also confusing. Maybe there are some personal issues at play but I certainly don’t deserve to be treated poorly and then have it flipped around that I am the offender. Bottom line: I paid to have my hair colored to cover gray (plus a haircut) and was accused of being disrespectful because I didn’t want to leave the salon with gray. Now I will have to pay again and find someone who will fix it and hopefully it will be uneventful, drama-free and less stressful. No words are necessary on the outcome of the cut. Dani was awesome and even though I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted she nailed it!! She did a spectacular job she checked and checked again how long I wanted my hair, she told me what she was doing though out the appointment and once she was done she styled my hair and asked if I was satisfied with my hair. My hair looks beautiful and natural even when it was colored and my hair cut is chic and beautiful. I am so excited about my hair!
